2011 BMW X3 Denver- All-Season Traction Control

The 2011 BMW X3 Denver is engineered with many component’s which are designed to improve handling, stability and traction.  One of these systems is the All-Season Traction which is part of Dynamic Stability Control, which provides better stability and control in slippery road conditions all year long – from packed snow, ice, rain- or oil-slicked roads, and sandy or rough surfaces. The All-Season Traction system in the 2011 BMW X3 Denver continually processes data from the anti-lock braking wheel-speed sensors.  It detects any time a rear “drive” wheel begins to lose traction, and adjusts the engine’s electronic throttle and ignition timing to reduce torque. The All-Season Traction in the 2011 BMW X3 Denver can also engage on each rear brake individually or simultaneously, as needed, to bring wheel slip under control.
